NTM slag drum systems increase recovery efficiency by effectively processing slag generated in aluminum production processes that contains valuable metal before remelting. Thanks to the drum-type operating principle, metal and oxide components within the slag are separated in a controlled manner, resulting in a more suitable raw material structure for furnace feeding.

Directly remelting slag discharged from reverberatory furnaces, injection ladles, and primary production lines leads to operational losses such as high energy consumption, increased flux usage, and rising disposal costs.
